clinical research unit of shantou university medical college (cru-sumc) was initially established as
shantou-oxford clinical research unit(socru) on may 15, 2010 for collaboration between sumc and the university of oxford in the field of scientific research related to human health. cru's mission is to promote health through research, training, and education.
